If you are someone who has a home gym or who is looking to build or add to a home gym, then you really should strongly consider purchase a good set of adjustable weight dummbells. Such fitness equipment has several advantages over the more traditional hex and regular dumbbell sets, which we will outline briefly below.

First, the cost of the adjustable dumbbell weight is much lower than buying a full set of regular or hex dumbbells. Generally you will find free weights for sale at a rate of $1 per pound. With a normal, full set of dumbbells you will want a set that includes everything from a 5 lb weight to 50 pound weights (or more, but this is the standard beginner set range). So, you end up needing to purchase 550 pounds of weight and you still will need a very good-sized weight rack to hold/store it. In the end you end up spending over $600 easily on the set. With a good adjustable weight set you will spend around $300 and get the same range of weight use.

Second, the space required for adjustable weights is nothing compared to the traditional set. Instead of having almost an entire wall dedicated to the dumbbell rack you now can easily store everything in one small corner (I have even seen them stored underneath a small coffee table). Obviously this is a huge advantage for someone looking to set up or who has a home gym. In fact, in the past the space problem has kept so many people from purchasing adjustable dumbbells and from being able to benefit from the diverse exercises that can be performed with them.

Overall, there really isn’t too many drawbacks to purchasing an adjustable dumbbell weight set instead of a traditional or hex one. They are smaller, cheaper, and allow you to do everything you could possibly want to do with a dumbbell set.

For most people, they’re first experience with the whole idea of female bodybuilding consists of seeing pictures of a women who doesn’t really look like a women. Her arms are bulging, her shoulders are huge and her legs massive. Sure, she has a narrow waist but that’s about the only feminine attribute she has. Don’t let that idea fool you, most female bodybuilders do not look like that. In fact, most, if not all, of the women you see who look like this, are probably on some unnatural performance enhancing drug.

So, does this mean you should avoid building muscle? No! In fact, building muscle is one of the smartest things you can do if you’re looking at getting in and STAYING in shape. Muscles not only add in firmness and shape to your body, they help raise your metabolism. As you know, raising your metabolism will increase the amount of calories your body will burn without you doing a lick of exercise. This is a very good thing and something most women will overlook.

Another attribute to building muscles naturally and properly is the ability to engage in some real body sculpting. Just like clay sculptor, getting the shape you want isn’t only about taking off the excess, it’s about adding a bit more in the right places. This is what will give you a figure you can be extremely proud of and happy to have. If you just lose weight you’re going to end up being a thing out-of-shape person. But, add in some muscle and you will not only look great, you’ll feel great.

Grab a set of weights and engage in some resistance training at a level that stretches you but doesn’t tear you down. Use a bit lighter weight than you think you’re capable of lifting and do a few more reps than you thought you could. Lighter weights and higher reps will help you build strength and not bulk. Try it for 30 days and see if the results are pleasing. I’m willing to be they are.

When guys work out, one of the key areas they target the most is the abdomen. It is pretty clear to see the motivation. People (women) love to see guys who are in shape and are ripped who have six pack abs. If you look at men’s fitness or muscle magazines or even go online to random sites, you’ll see all types of advertising targeting men who want a flat stomach and a defined abdomen.

However, getting a six pack is hard work. Not only will you need to work out, but you will also have to diet properly. It isn’t just about eating healthy and being fit but the right type of nutrition and the right kind of exercises as well that will really show off an amazing six pack. Most people do get a flat stomach and strong core muscles and yet the six pack eludes them. They still have those stubborn love handles but what’s to love about pinching excess fat from your sides?

So now you know getting a washboard stomach requires a lot work and it is also a long term plan. Some people really don’t have that type of commitment and want fast results. You can get the results you want quickly and it doesn’t involve buying another exercise program. Truthfully, all those how to get abs exercise programs most likely all work if you stick with them long enough. They do provide variety if you need to mix things up to keep things fresh and to sustain momentum but I’m talking about getting hard and ripped in seconds.

So what is this miracle cure? It’s nothing special but Spanx underwear for men. If you’re not familiar with Spanx, it is a brand of support underwear for women that shapes the body. While the company has not created a line for men, other competitors have stepped in to fill the void to manufacture these support undergarments. You can find them in department stores in the sports section filed under compression wear or you can get them in a specialized mens girdle store. And yes, they do exist because there’s a definite need for sports and medical reasons.

So if you are embarking on a path to get you six pack abs, get some help with compression wear because it will smooth out those hard to get rid of love handles. It’s a long process but you will get there eventually with a body you can be proud of.

If you are thinking of building lean and strong muscles, you need to feed your body with the best muscle building foods everyday, all day. This can be a very unpleasant task, but you can rid of all the hassles if you prepare and stock up on all of these great foods beforehand. So, if you want to find out how to bulk up fast, but is a bit tight on the budget, here are a couple of ideas for you to ponder on. Read on!

Dried Beans – This is a wonderful muscle building food, especially if you are tight on the budget. They are dead-cheap, yet packed with fiber, proteins and antioxidants. Some great examples of beans that you need to stock up on are pinto beans, kidney beans and black beans. You can have them as your side dish or you can mix them with brown rice to create a complete protein meal.

Eggs – These are also cheap, but full of muscle building protein. Another great thing about eggs is that, they are readily available and can be found practically everywhere! If in case you are closely monitoring your fat intake, simply eat one whole egg and two egg whites per day.

Chicken Breast – Depending on the season, chicken breast can be quite expensive. What you can do is to stay on the look out for when your local supermarket goes on a sale and purchase ten pounds or more then stock it up on your freezer.

Cottage Cheese – This particular type of cheese is loaded with casein protein which your body digests slowly, giving you that continuous supply of amino acids for supreme muscle mass growth. Eat cottage cheese before you hit the sack and do not worry about purchasing those expensive brands. You can save up if you buy those supermarket brands in big containers.

Bodybuilding requires consistent stimulation of the body’s muscles to encourage muscle hypertrophy. However, in order to achieve steady gains and get ripped fast we also need to stimulate healthy adaptation of the body’s tendons, ligaments and nerves. Ligaments and tendons are particularly rigid and inelastic tough strips of tissue that are quite easily ruptured if pushed beyond their structural and physical limits. Working on them slowly will allow them to adapt and strengthen and prevent damage. This will prolong your ability to keep working out.

In order for the tendons and ligaments to fully adapt it is especially important to fully stretch prior to your workout regime. Many programs such as those found in the Vince Delmonte Review advise on such a recommendation. In order to adapt efficiently, each body position and muscle group that is worked on must be stretched for around 30 seconds . It is a particularly good plan to encourage the flow of blood to the ligaments and muscles with a warm-up aerobic session. This will prepare them for a workout by increasing the flow of oxygen and nutrients to the tendons and ligaments.

Having a training or spot partner with you will assist with the work-outs and can also reduce the risk of injury When you reach fatigue, your training or spot assistant can assist you to lift the weight and avoid injury. Overstraining will be stopped by stopping the requirement to lift the weights whilst exhausted. The time spent between exercises or sets is of much controversy. It is under question whether a longer duration of time will reduce injury. The problem with this is that we do still need to stimulate the muscles and taking 90 to 120 seconds in between sets appears to be an optimal amount of time.

The time spent after working out is also as vital as the duration of time both before and during the workout. This is a valuable period of time in which to do a stretching regime. During the recovery time, muscles, ligaments and tendons require optimal amounts of nutrients including protein and glucose to fully recover and adapt to the workout program. It is during this time when muscle hypertrophy and increases in size occur. The influx of nutrients, including protein and glucose to the tendons which will also increase the strength of them over the long term and reduce the chance of injury.

It is no great surprise more and more people are often following a program and taking up bodybuilding and weight training as we are bombarded by pictures and videos of fit sexy looking people. As more people take up the sport then there is a rising incidence of injury. Following the advice explained in this article should assist you to lower the potential for injury.
